I think Keine has the best hat. It's still darn silly though.

>U wot?

Last year talking was had about Nanowrimo participation and some folks had to say "Updating every day for a month, during THIS time of year? No can do!" I wondered then, what about during another time of year? What about March????

It's valid: winter is a horrible time especially for working people. So, why not a less busier time? And so, Nanowrimo 2019. (2). March starts in about a week. Join, nerd.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it is to

a) write at least 30 updates in March
b) write at least 30,000 words by the end of March

You don't actually have to write every day, and can accomplish b) by dumping 30k words on March 31st. It's an OR statement so no you don't have to do both. Do as you will, what's important is that you DO IT

And, that's it. What, you want a reward? Aside from the sense of accomplishment of having done it? You can propose a story idea and volunteers might actually write it. Wow. No really, it's a possibility but not all the requests were fulfilled from two years ago, and there were none proposed from last year. Most WERE written for 2018's Nanowrimo so, go on! Go ahead! If you reach the goal, give an idea! Mine wasn't taken, but mine was purposefully horrible. I'll write stuff for winners, if they want.

Recall the THP Discord:

Are we going to have an A.T.O.M. (2)? I will be participating, by the way. If this doesn't work out well, next year I'll try another time of year. I want to see you folks writin'.

Reader here: I'm ready to cry for updates all day every day. Not much else I can do.
I regret my participation last time, so nah, not writing.

Give me a minute on A.T.O.M. II.
Gonna sit out for this one, but good luck to all the participants. I'll try and read every active story participating though!
Reader here. I'm ready to promise I'll read/vote in all the stories but them stop about 6 days in because most of the stories will be low energy/bad.

Also, The patreon has been making a bunch of extra money every month, can't we just use that to buy commissions for the winners? That way everyone wins.
This is me now reconsidering my life choices not participating and joining after all. I dunno. If I don't post something by March 1, call me a bitch.
Oh yeah, here's mine >>/at/40336 (NSFW)
Call me a bitch because I'm busier than expected, go figure.

This is me: >>/border/31609

Is starting yet another story a good idea? Feel free to judge me. That way you'll be able to get some practice in.
Call me a double bitch because I said fuck it to being responsible and participating anyway. Do note that I may drop out at any point.
Sad to say, but I'll be dropping out. I had a good pace and kept up until around 23 updates, but I got hit with a busy schedule soon after, and that killed my speed.

Are you not on quarantine status ATM?
Working from home, but I still have a lot of deadlines to meet, unfortunately.
This was sort of a failure. I guess next time I'll try... the summer? It got a few people writing but that's the thing: a few.

I didn't accomplish this by the end of March using only one story, but was 100 away from 30k words in the story specifically for this, and across other stories put in enough work to meet the goal. I'll think about asking for a story based on a premise I suggest
I really wanted to do some kind of symbolic participation, but that didn't work out at all.

Doubt I'll manage anything in the summer either.

I managed to do an update every day of the month and finish a story. Hooray. Now to join Komachi in slacking off.
