Spiritual successor to https://www.thp.moe/th/res/203729.html btw

My name is- My family name is- My middle name is-

Getsu-Gatsu-Kooru-Sae. Getsu-Gatsu-Kooru-Sae. Sometimes it's Rin. I don't like that. I'm not a cat. I don't steal corpses. I’m a human. I’m a handsome young boy- or man. Whichever makes a girl- no, lady blush more.

I like older ladies by the way. I want to love one. I want one to love me back. I’d like to be taken care of by one so I’ll never have to worry about anything ever again.

I want people to call me Gabby! It’s soft. It’s nice. It’s masculine(I think). It works most of the time, I hear Gabby a lot. Sometimes it’s the others. That makes me mad. But not that much- I’m good at self control, you see, you have to be when you’re like me.

Let’s try this again.

You can call me Gabby.

I’m a boy- from birth. Sometimes I get mistaken for being a girl, I think it’s because of how my face is shaped. I like it when I get mistaken for one, sometimes. Because it makes me feel more appealing to my “type”, I told you that earlier, right?

I should be 18 years old now- I didn’t get registered in the human village, see. I forgot why, it’s been a while. But girls- ladies like youth. You see, but I don’t want ladies who are attracted to youth too much.

You get it, right?

I work as… A freelancer, I like helping people, by bringing them things found in places in the dredges. Where forgotten things from the outside world pile up. Normally they weren't this big back then but now- sorry I'm getting off topic.

One day, I’d like to work in the medical industry.

Like a nurse, or something.

My interests include helping people. Touching and hugging fluffy things, like feathers and fur, though this happens rarely, I also like smelling flowers and having the wind pass through my hair. I also like learning about medicine.

I’m good at first aid, people think I look good, I’m fit and athletic, I don’t overeat or undereat(my favorite food is venison, by the way), and I’m good with haggling prices from merchants and the like.

I’m not a perfect person though. The doctor diagnosed me with things like a hypersexuality disorder, or a personality disorder, and I even lost the papers of my diagnosis though, I’m sorry. I also tend to forget things, I’m not very disciplined and I tend to get lazy and greedy a lot. I’m also short, but I like being short, I like… Ladies taller than me. So being shorter makes that easier, even though it makes it harder to reach things from up high. But it’s useless to think about things like that. It’s like masturbating.

See this one time I was told that masturbating can relieve me when I feel hot. So I tried it. I kept trying it until I almost died from exhaustion. I’d rather have sex instead. Now that I’m an adult.

Right! By the way- since I’m an adult now I thought it’s the time that I should try searching for a partner now. When I come back home- it’s a bit messy though- I can show you my plan for it.- I put it on a board.

Roukanken is a weapon. It is made to kill. Inhuman hands forged it. Inhuman hands gave it eyes. To watch, to witness, to whisper and make others a weapon, made to kill. Eyes forced shut by a flower tied to its sheath, held together with seal and rope.

Roukanken’s sheathed length extended far along stony, grey ground. It was unlike the soft dirt and grasses of its previous wielder’s home, one of still, floating corpses. Roukanken quivered as gloved hands caressed its form as its new wielder whispered to it. Useless information, one that a weapon need not to know.

Unlike its previous wielder, it could feel its gaze boring into its form, trying to wear away the painted wood of its sheath to drill into its steel. Roukanken felt. Roukanken was not supposed to feel. Weapons do not feel.

But above all else. Its new wielder felt more. Active, almost, he moved more, breathed more.

Was this perhaps something truly human for once?

Roukanken felt itself being picked up and held close, steady movements evidencing movement as it carried through its new environment. The air that passed against its sheath was stale, old.

Rhythmic footsteps against solid rock reverberated through Roukanken’s steel as it was moved, the air growing fresher and fresher before its carrier came to a stop, laying Roukanken down once more.

“Let's see here.” Gabby muttered. Not in demented rambling, his voice was soft. A forced softness, something practiced, and not enough.

“I knew heading out in the dredges this late would be the right call!”

Roukanken heard the ruffling of clothing, the rough sounds of paper being fished out as the sound of scrawling accompanied it.

“Okay, some kind of magical katanaaa… Dunno where it came from…!”

Gabby giggled, Roukanken could hear the heels of his foot rise, struggling not to jump in joy.

“So THIS is what taking risks gets you!- I'll tell you what, tomorrow, we'll head out- wait! We won't even need to- we can just walk up and-”

The end of Gabby's sentence was punctuated by the sound of someone being lifted up.

Roukanken didn't know. Didn't hear when the… Creature appeared. They're presence was heavy, in a manner of something draping across you utterly, not unlike a blanket.

“R- Ah- R-” Gabby stuttered out, his final vocalization cut off with an exasperated sigh, as if Gabby was a disobedient child. Though Roukanken did assume Gabby was one, with the seal placed on it however, it was impossible for it to confirm.

You.” The voice was a feminine one. Older. Perhaps to Gabby's tastes, judging from his introduction to Roukanken.

“L-look over there!” Roukanken could feel itself being pointed at. Another weight and it could tell that it was being glared at.

“A-A genuine magical sword- I think.”

“I mean I found it in a weird place, like, some kind of garden, the um- ‘outside’ room things just stopped? And then I saw this like- village looking room with a table and-”

“What did I tell you about going through here this late at night?”

Roukanken heard a grunt. And a palm slapping against skin.

“Not even the Kappa come here this late! And you know what the dredges can do to even Yokai.”

And then heard a whine. From the boy.

“I swear. If the next time I see you is as a corpse I'll-”

A shake. Then a fall. Likely Gabby on his rear.

“Okay- Okay! I'm sorry!- I'll make it up to you- you liked the um.. the skewers from the uh…”

A long pause.

“Wait-! My headwear! I think I-”

My headwear is…

[ ] I pick up my headband off the ground, it's made of synthetic materials, I can't tell you much about it but basically it's like Bunny ears I can put on my head.

I live in the bamboo forest. I'm one of the only humans who do, and the only human to live in Eientei! I helped around a lot, I did that so much the leader of the rabbits gave me this as a gift.

The doctor and the princess lives there, though I haven't been seeing either of them a lot. I haven't got around to asking why either. They're from the moon. And something about weaker gravity makes them really tall?

One of the rabbits- the intimidating purple haired one is also really tall- I think she's from the moon. Maybe I should ask her out. Though she strains the boundaries of my taste.

[ ] I pick up my own personal Tokin hat! Its color is a bit dull in some spots, and thin in others, but it's mine.

I live at around the top of Yokai mountain, it's kind of a long story but one of the crow tengu big shots got really impressed with me after word of me got around(somehow) and offered me housing. I was told that I would be sent on missions or something. But that would come later, and that I should acclimate to my new home and hat.

It's been a bit weird, the tengu there treats me weirdly sometimes, but I hope I'll make them warm up to me soon. I feel a bit cramped when the only way down is through a long lift.

It's not all bad though. Some of the tengu are really nice to me, like that Wolf tengu who defended me from a Yokai that one time, or that crow tengu journalist who listens to all my stories when I come back from the dredges.

It's good to say some of them fit my taste too.

[ ] A Kappa engineer hat. It's new, made of plant matter(or so I'm told), and a bit heavy.

I live at the foot of Yokai mountain. One of the merchants I sell the loot I get off of the dredges told me that I could rent a living space cheap where they lived. She's a Kappa, by the way. And I'm basically her roommate now.

It's a bit loud with all the machining and what not. But it's a nice place filled with nice people.

Kappa are kind of short, and I'm not really into that. But true love would bend my taste if I find it here.

Tengu are stuffy and boring, Moonies are generally weird and probably experimenting on your butt while you're asleep. The kappa might be noisy, but at least they're pretty cheerful. I think they live underwater, though.
