Patchouli rights herself swiftly, and turns her head to you, meeting your look of concern with a stony gaze in her purple eyes. "It is not something to waste time on. Merely a minor condition. As I asked... is there anything else, or shall I have you shown out?"
[ ] "Thank you, Miss Patchouli. I'll go."
[ ] "Actually, I had a few more questions."
[ ] "Are you really alright? How long has it happened?"
"As you wish." She reaches up and snaps her fingers, and in seconds, Koakuma is there, deeply bowing to the sorceress youkai, and Patchouli nods at the demoness briefly, and she escorts you to the exit. As you go to open the doors, however, this time is a little bit different.
Her voice is breathy yet soft. "She's had it for many years now. The gatekeeper is waiting for you, you should visit her." When you turn to reply to her, she is already gone. Ah, well.
You stalk through the large mansion, headed intently for the doors. You wonder what Meiling has planned; and will Cirno come too? And will that maid not kill you? At least you're not in a dress again. However, your thoughts are interrupted rudely as you stop, as something has grabbed your arm.
"Mr. Dumbass, I want to play now." Flandre informs you tritely, looking up at you.
>>335982 >Vampires (吸血鬼) are among the least popular non-human creatures living in Gensokyo. They are usually self-centered, enjoy provoking strangers, and aren't terribly nice to acquaintances.
They command great power, but daylight weakens them. Actually, lots of things weaken them: garlic, silver, wooden stakes, patience, you name it. In spite of all that, they tend to be troublesome to handle.
Most vampires are members of aristocratic families or are otherwise extremely wealthy.
Oh, and they drink blood.
Vampires are considered to be a type of devil in Gensokyo. Although there are multiple known vampires in or around Gensokyo, they are apparently a relatively new race.
* Examples: Remilia Scarlet, Flandre Scarlet YEP LOOKS LIKE A YOUKAI TO ME
>>335997 >>335995 Of the newer youkai that have emerged only within the last few centuries, vampires are among the strongest of them, strong enough to take part in the power-balance of Gensokyo (*1) by now.
>>336035 I think you forgot how she reacted when Anon said "girl" and "call me onichan" to her. You shouldn't estimate a living being with 495 years of experience. Being childish doesn't mean she can be easily fooled.
... You know, in Nethack, I always copied my save files...
Flandre smiles. "You aren't thinking of leaving so soon, are you?" She unceremoniously forces you back down into the basement with her, nearly causing you to trip down the stairs, and once you reach the end, your arm hurts. She pushes you into a chair. "Let's play a guessing game! If you win, you get what you want. If I win, I get what I want... What do you want, Mr. Dumbass?"
[ ] "Allowed to enter and exit the mansion at will."
[ ] "I'd like Sakuya to make me a meal of my choice."
"Okay... And if I win..." She breaks off, giggling insanely with a small snort. "It's a seeecret, actually." She grins, and grabs a nearby stuffed animal, a patched up dog. And slashes it open with a nail, ripping out the innards of the toy, balling up the fluff into one hand. "Okay, you have to pick the hand with the fluff in it. If you don't, I win. It's really chancy, huh?" She bursts into laughter once more before suddenly going silent, and looking with her wide crimson eyes at you, smushing her hands together before you can blink. Two fists are held out in front of you.
We might be dead now because of a few reasons: 1. She'll cheat erasing the fluff from existence so both hands will be empty. 2. In the case she doesn't cheat at the guessing game she'll kill us because she hates to loose. 3. She'll kill us anyway just because she can. ;__;
>1. She'll cheat erasing the fluff from existence so both hands will be empty. Haven't you been watching Kaiji? Make her show her other hand and prove that it has the fluff in it. >2. In the case she doesn't cheat at the guessing game she'll kill us because she hates to loose. Oh well. >3. She'll kill us anyway just because she can. I didn't really think this through
