>>21932 The story is set up in such a way that the outcome of a single vote usually doesn't have that big of an impact on the story. Because I know that it's impossible for everyone to vote always. So character appearances and interactions get more than one shot. And if the choice is a bigger deal than usual, I normally leave it up for voting for a longer time than usual (an extra day or two). It's what I've always said in the threads.
If you don't vote, however, the chances of the story going in the direction that you don't want are greater. Plus it makes me a sad panda. As a result it's harder for me to keep writing at all.
